Why stay in an expensive hotel with one small room or suite when we provide you with a whole house for less!

Step in to your very own private Euro style Glass House with a lovely  Atrium, when you stay in my executive rental home. The atrium plants are lovely, and include banana trees and tropical plants. This home is completely furnished, and includes an ADT alarm system, bedding, towels and linens, dishes and pots and pans, washer and dryer and ice maker refrigerator, telephone service, lawn service, cable modem and expanded cable television in all bedrooms and living room and family room!

This is a hotel style rental accommodation that provides luxury only found in a single family private home.

Located in a very convenient neighborhood inside loop 410, near North Star Mall and Alamo Quarry Mall (one mile) and the San Antonio Airport (2.5 miles), close to 410 and 281, so commuting to Ft. Sam (5.7 miles), Randolph AFB (18.4 miles), or downtown (approximately 5 miles) is accessible in minutes from home when you stay at one of my Executive Rental properties. It takes me about ten minutes non-rush hour to get to the River Center Mall. There is an HEB grocery store, a Blockbuster Video, a Walgreens pharmacy, a liquor store within two blocks of this fine home.

This house features a lovely lot with a fenced-in rear yard.

Home features a master bedroom suite with private bath and very large dressing room/closet with two queen beds. The Master bedroom overlooks the rear yard. Custom paint and furniture make this a lovely space to stay in.

A second and third good sized bedrooms features  Queen-sized beds with a shared bath.

There is a formal living room inspired by contemporary architect Mies Van de Rohe (often called the father of Contemporary Architecture), featuring furniture designs from the Reception Hall for the King and Queen of Spain's visit to the 1929 Barcelona Exhibition. The Living Room also joins the lovely atrium. Three (3) twin sized Barcelona style day beds, and a Barcelona style Lounge and Ottoman, compliment this exclusive and beautiful living room.  Each day bed will sleep one person.

Adjacent to the Living Room is a Television Lounge, which has a double recliner sofa and side chair, and of course a television.

The newly rehabbed kitchen features a ceramic tile countertop and  floor, contemporary lighting, GE stainless steel appliances (ice maker refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, regular oven with cooktop), a very large breakfast bar, maple cabinets, and maple colored oak dining room area that seats up to 9 persons.  There is a dinner service for 12 persons provided with this house,  and has all the items necessary to cook good meals.

The one car garage has an electric door.

INTRODUCING POOL DOME!
There is a shared above ground swimming pool WITH DOME COVER for the use of the Guests of the Stone House, Trail House and Glass House. It does have a solar heating system, and as of Thanksgiving Day this year it also sports a new Sun Dome! Shown here is a photograph of the Sun Dome as it will look in winter and  months from October 31 to April 30. Now the Pool is is usable from March through December but only as weather permits.  So far I have had two families of kids swim in it Thanksgiving week 2010 who really like the Pool Dome!  The Pool tends to be more kid friendly than an in-ground pool. The pool size is 4 feet deep and 21 feet in diameter. The pool area is fenced off from the rest of the private rear yards, and has a locked gate access for pool enjoyment.  Guests are required to sign a waiver to use the Pool.  There is no life guard on duty, you swim at your own risk. No pool temperature is expressed or implied, it is heated as-is where is to the maximum amount the Pool Dome and the solar heater can provide.

Suitability
  • No Pets Allowed
  • Not Suitable for Children: This house has extensive floor to ceiling glass walls, not suitable for small children from toddler to eight years of age. If you want to stay in Atrium House with a child from toddler to age 8, you need to sign a waiver for damage to the child due to the extensive glass in the home.
  • Smoking Not Allowed: Smoking is allowed in the atrium and outside only.
